Dairy Queen Found At Last
Audrey and I have been searching for a DQ for quite a while and couldn't to seem to find one that was handy. John and I had to find an UPS and lo and behold there was a DQ right next door. So yesterday I called Dave and told him if he and Audrey had an hour to spare we wanted to take them somewhere. Well I should have talked to Audrey, as Dave was 20 questions, where, why, how long etc. You'd think he didn't trust me and I have NEVER caused him to think otherwise. As you can tell by the smiles, they are happy.
The counter lady was so nice, she volunteered to take our picture.

This is a wonderful old picture taken in 1951 in ... are you ready ..... Hot Springs, AR.!!! Grand Opening of the DQ on Grand AVE. How fun!

Great Cloud Pictures
Traveling from Aventura to Orlando I caught this unusual cloud with the sun's rays coming thru. Awesome and reminds me of our Lord, how majestic HE is.
Just after I took this photo, the wind whipped it away.

Our Last Meal
We took a drive down to South Beach, first time for us. Meant to do it last year and almost didn't get it done this year. Anyway it was interesting and I'm glad we did it. Don't have to go back.
Trice suggested pancakes for our last meal together, so John cooked the bacon outside in the electric skillet. (I got it for a wedding gift in 1961) So anyway had the electric burner occupied cooking eggs and that left the grill on the gas burners to cook pancakes. I guess you know where I'm going with this, got the paper plates a little too close to the burner.
At least I burnt 2 plates seems I missed mine, but no harm done. Thank goodness the sink was close.
We had a great visit, and got some things done for Trice. Time to move on to colder weather and rain.
